Ingredients

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, cold water, and vanilla extract. 4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until everything is combined. 5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the dough onto the prepared baking sheet in 4-inch lengths. 6. Bake for 10 minutes, until lightly golden brown. 7. Meanwhile, make the chocolate filling. In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, cream, sugar, and salt. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. 8. Dip the cooled churros in the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. 9. In a shallow bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Notes

If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a resealable plastic bag with the corner cut off. You can also use a spoon to form the churros on the baking sheet. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a bit more flour. Be sure not to overbake the churros or they will become dry and hard. If you want to add a bit more sweetness, you can dip the churros in melted chocolate and sprinkle with more sugar before serving.
