Ingredients

For the Croissants:

-2 cups all-purpose flour

-1 teaspoon sugar

-1/4 cup warm water

-1 package dry yeast

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-2 tablespoons butter

-1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

For the Croissants:

1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.

2. Dissolve the yeast in the warm water and add to the flour mixture. Mix until it forms a soft dough.

3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
