Ingredients

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and sugar. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk and eggs. 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. 6. In a medium bowl, mix together the Nutella and chopped hazelnuts. 7. Spread the Nutella mixture over the top of the cake. 8. Starting from one end, roll the cake up into a log. 9. Place the log in the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. 10. To make the glaze, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Whisk in the cocoa powder, Nutella, powdered sugar and milk. Whisk until smooth. 11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. 12. Slice the cake and serve.

Notes

If the cake is too dry, add a tablespoon of milk to the batter. The cake can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Nutella can be substituted with peanut butter or other nut butters of your choice.
